Episode 017 Update - Jan 14, 2016

More progress made on Episode 17! I've got a rough cut of the third game segment complete, with audio and video placed more or less where it will end up in the final cut. I do have a bit of a hole to fill with some footage of older PC games, but that shouldn't take too long to capture and add in to the time line.

I haven't managed to capture any more footage of the next game on the list yet. That's likely another hour or so of gameplay at least.

In other news: I'm building a new computer! About half of the components have arrived. I'm hoping by this time next week I'll be in full-on build mode. Once that's done I expect editing and posting will become way more streamlined. Fewer crashes and shorter processing can only be a good thing!

Episode 017 Update - Jan 8, 2016

One of my resolutions this year is to give you all much more frequent updates about upcoming episodes. Episode 017 has hit more than its fair share of bumps, and I honestly can't believe how long I've been working on it at this point. 

I've had to adjust the game lineup right in the middle of the edit, cutting out three games from the middle of December, 1990 and adding in three games I managed to miss from November 1990. That has, once again, set the episode back again. 

So what's the current status of the episode? Two game segments are complete and edited. A third has been fully scripted and captured, and is ready for edit. I've begun capturing footage for the fourth game. That leaves one more (pretty small) game that I haven't touched yet. 

I'll try to update everyone on the status of the episode again late next week. 

In the meantime, I'm still streaming fairly regularly over at www.twitch.tv/sewart, and uploading videos of those streams over on YouTube. Make sure you check them out. Games I'm currently streaming are Metal Gear (original MSX version), LEGO Dimensions, and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
