Welcome to Generation 16!

I started Generation 16 as an excuse to play every video game released on Sega's Mega Drive/Genesis, one of my favourite consoles of all time. As the series has progressed, it has evolved into something more - an examination of the game industry as a whole during the first half of the 1990s.

Each new episode features five games, and, when possible, short features on major news events. Every game has a story, and I aim to share that whenever I can, including reaching out to the actual developers of these games and getting some insight into how things were back in the day.
