Episode 014 Update #3

Lately most episodes of Generation 16 have featured a series of "event" segments outlining the goings-on in the industry at that particular point in time. Episode 014 will only have one such segment, and I just finished scripting that tonight. The footage was captured a couple of nights ago.

That means the raw materials for this episode are at about 50%, with two segments of the script at the 1st draft phase and the rest in the form of rough notes. Most of the footage has been captured, though I have to go back and get one or two more games done as well as supplemental arcade game footage.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I had the family down to Florida on vacation last week, and didn't think the wife would be too keen on me sitting at my laptop every night capturing video game footage while we were there.

Reminders:

Remember, if you like what you see with Generation 16, please consider supporting the show by contributing to the Patreon Campaign. And thanks again to everyone who's already donated!

And, of course, speaking of donations: the 2014 Extra Life Charity Gaming Marathon is less than 40 days away, and I'm currently sitting at 41% of my goal. Please come to my fundraising page and give what you can. It's a great cause.

If you donate $25 or more, you can also name a game for me to play. Pick from any game in my library that is either produced by Sega or was released on a Sega console, and I'll play it for an hour on October 25th!

Finally, please don't forget to head over to the Generation 16 Facebook page and give it a like!

Episode 014 Update #1

It's time!

The footage for the first two games of Episode 014 has been captured. I'm trying out recording on a new laptop, so hopefully I've got all the settings in the proper place.

A couple other things:

- Extra Life - I have decided to let the donors decide what games I'll be playing during my marathon on October 25th. Of course, the library they get to choose from is based solely on classic Sega consoles! So come donate! $25 or more buys you an hour of the day (until they're all gone).

- Don't forget to donate to my Patreon campaign if you are so inclined. You want your name in the credits of the next episode, right?

- Come watch me play classic Sega games LIVE every Wednesday night starting around 9pm EST! This coming week will feature Sunsoft's Aero the Acro-Bat. You'll be able to find archives of these broadcasts on my YouTube channel.
