Episode 18 Update - April 22, 2016

First of all, thanks for all the kind words about Episode 17! It was such a relief to finally get that one done and uploaded, and the response has been overhwelmingly positive.

Now it's time to start talking about Episode 18! There are about 10 minutes already fully produced, with another five minutes or so in a rough cut state. All of the footage for game #2 has been captured, and the script for said game is just about done.

I'm really excited about a couple of different segments in this episode, and especially excited about a brand new publisher I get to talk about. It's going to take a fair amount of research, however, so I've got a lot of reading ahead of me.

Oh! One more thing! A couple weeks ago I went down to the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee to appear on the latest episodes of the Retronauts podcast. That show has been published, and you can listen to it here! Come learn about the Sega Master System!

Episode 17 Update - March 11, 2016

The current segment I'm working on has gotten much closer to complete this week. The rough edit is actually done. All that's left is to add in a couple of clips (one clip of a related Master System game and a re-shoot of the intro), add titles, and then go in and clean up the whole thing in a final pass.

Then it's on to the final segment of the show! If all goes well I'll actually have this bad boy posted before the Midwest Gaming Classic Retronauts panel in April!

I'm also back to a semi-regular streaming schedule over on twitch. I'm online most weeknights at approximately 9:30 pm EST playing whatever I happen to be playing at the moment. Currently that's Sonic 3D Blast, LEGO Dimensions and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

It's also worth noting that I'll be firing up what I hope to be montly Extra Life streams starting sometime in April. I hope to raise at least $5500 for the IWK Children's Hospital here in Halifax this year, so please give what you can. And I'm always looking for charity streaming ideas, so hit me with whatever you've got!

Finally, be sure to check out the show's Facebook page and give it a like. And if you'd like to support the show, head on over to Patreon and slap a few bucks down. Every dollar you donate goes back into the show!
