Episode 18 Update - April 22, 2016

First of all, thanks for all the kind words about Episode 17! It was such a relief to finally get that one done and uploaded, and the response has been overhwelmingly positive.

Now it's time to start talking about Episode 18! There are about 10 minutes already fully produced, with another five minutes or so in a rough cut state. All of the footage for game #2 has been captured, and the script for said game is just about done.

I'm really excited about a couple of different segments in this episode, and especially excited about a brand new publisher I get to talk about. It's going to take a fair amount of research, however, so I've got a lot of reading ahead of me.

Oh! One more thing! A couple weeks ago I went down to the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee to appear on the latest episodes of the Retronauts podcast. That show has been published, and you can listen to it here! Come learn about the Sega Master System!

Episode 17 Update - March 5, 2016

Time for another update! Progress on the episode was a bit slow this week, but there's a good reason for that! I was honoured to get a bit of time to speak to the one and only Al Nilsen, former Marketing Director of Sega of America. We chatted for approximately an hour about all things Sega in 1990 and 1991. I want to send out a huge thank you to Al for patiently answering all of my questions. I'm sifting through the interview now to get all the bits and pieces in the proper places on future episode plans!

More big news! The fine folks over at Retronauts have asked me to guest on one of their upcoming episodes. Not only that, but it will be a live event held at the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee on April 9th. I'll be joining Jeremy Parish, Bob Mackey as well as Dylan Cornelius of SegaDoes.com to gab about Sega and the Master System this April. Can't wait!

Work continues! As usual, please consider supporting the show over at Patreon, and give us a like over on Facebook
